Scan NextGen: A Barcode Scanning App for GEODIS Staff and Contractors

Scan NextGen is a barcode scanning app developed by Optidev AB exclusively for GEODIS staff and contractors. Available for both Android and iPhone, this app is designed to streamline the shipment tracking process by allowing users to scan barcodes and add milestones to shipments.

With Scan NextGen, users can easily add milestones such as "Pickup," "Export WH," "Import WH," and "Delivered" to shipments. The app includes a validation feature that ensures the scanned barcode's format is correct before sending it as a milestone to NextGen. For delivery milestones, users have the option to use the "Sign-on-glass" functionality or manually enter a name as a signature for Proof of Delivery (POD). This generates a PDF document with the POD details, which is accessible in both NextGen and IRIS.

Scan NextGen is available for free download, but users will need a license code, username, and password to use the app. For access, please contact the nearest GEODIS Freightforwarding Office.
